A wannabe from a "desert"

Hello folks!

I discovered this project the past year and I feel enchanted, because
I firmly believe in the principle of Web of Trust. I'm actually trying
to achieve the assured/assurer status on CAcert, but I found some
issues because there are a few of them near my home and two of them
aren't responding to my mail requests. Obviously I'm continuing to
try, especially to achieve the assurer status and help spread the same
WOT principles.

Returning to GSWoT, I read the guidelines and I found that I need at
least (if using my future CAcert assurances) one GSintroducer
certification, if not three. And here comes the biggest problem,
because I live in Italy, where, according to our directory, there
aren't introducers and I can't travel to meet some of you in the near
future. I read in another thread about snail mail certification and
about class 2 certificates in one thread in this list, I'd like to
know what are the paths I could follow, if possible.

Any help is more than appreciated.

Cheers,
Simone

This is not strictly true. The options are one of:

1. Three GSWoT signatures
2. A CAcert signature and one GSWoT signature
3. Being a CAcert assurer

So, if you're a CAcert assurer you don't need any additional GSWoT
signatures on your key.

Oops, I didn't notice that in the guidelines.
Thanks a lot!
